The Southeast Event Centre is proud to present the 1st Annual Hot Dog Cook Off Competition on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Southeast Event Centre, just before the Steinbach Pistons exhibition game against the Niverville Nighthawks!

This exciting new event will bring together local businesses, great food, and YOU for a fun-filled community celebration. Participating businesses will create their own unique hot dog recipes, with one standout creation earning the title of "The Pistons' Dog" for the 2026-27 Steinbach Pistons season. The winning hot dog will be featured and sold at Pistons concession stands throughout the entire hockey season.

You can take part by purchasing a $10 tasting ticket, which includes samples of every hot dog in the competition and the opportunity to vote for their favorite. Proceeds from ticket sales will support ROC Eastman, a local charity dedicated to making recreation opportunities more accessible for children and youth across our region.
